Exploration #9 - Case of Curiosities

Miniature Museum: Collect only very small things.  Store them in a mint tin or small box.

My collection is of one of my favorite things: words.  In keeping with the theme, I collected words that denoted "small".  I placed them in different handwriting and fonts on top of my watercolor.  I then added a texture to the top.

This was actually pretty fun to do, as it touched on all my favorite elements =)

  1. I love how this turned out! The watercolor background is beautiful. Lilliputian is my favorite. :) Finally so happy to see an Exploration Post from you! Keep on going now! :)

  3. Thought provoking artwork in so many dimensions. The funny thing is when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. At first looking past the words as once you understand their meaning you can forget them, I stared in awe but at a single beautiful flower, then upon closer gaze without mind, to my shock once again I witnessed multiple blissful hats emerging all over and exploding at various levels of artist's enthusiasm. Favorite forgotten word....infinitesimal, which is the size one strives to keep our EGO to remain before we master the skill to foil it into vanishing.
